Congratulations to my sweet clients from Singapore! He had the most amazing idea to propose to his giflriend at Tokyo Disneyland, in front of the Beauty and the Beast Castle. It was raining throughout the whole shoot but that did not stop them from being so happy and living joyfully in the moment!
Tokyo Wedding Photographer: An Engagement in Shinjuku Gyoen and Family Mart!
I had the honor of photographing C + J for their pre-wedding photos in Shinjuku! What a fun-loving couple! They wanted to do a mix of romantic fun at Shinjuku Gyoen (garden), and silly on the streets of Shinjuku (especially at Family Mart!) I love how expressive and fun they are and playful with each other. This photo shoot was done over 3 years ago but to this day I still talk to C+J and also that it is one of the most playful + romantic shoots I’ve ever done!
Tokyo Disney Proposal Photographer: A Sunset Engagement at Disney Sea
This couple traveled all the way from Australia. It was the last day of their trip, and he decided to propose at Tokyo Disney Sea! She was SO surprised when it happened, and she could not stop crying during the whole proposal and even for a few minutes afterward! Awww. so sweet! After the proposal we spent about an hour taking some fun+casual engagement photos around the park. Congrats, R & J!

This was one of my favorite proposal sessions ever- the expressions on her face are PRICELESS. You can feel the joy radiating out of the 2 of them! I also loved that they are both passionate dancers- it truly showed in the photos at the end! Congrats again to Kohsuke and Alex!

Tokyo Vacation Photographer: A Fun and Funky Family Explores Harajuku, Shibuya, and Omotesando
This family booked me for a 2 hour shoot so we could explore Omotesando, Harajuku, and Shibuya! I LOVED how FUN and OPEN to doing things! I really enjoy seeing my clients being WOWed by things in Japan- whether it’s the hip store fronts, cute pet shops, cotton candy and desserts everywhere, hall of mirrors, LINE characters, etc! I also LOVE it when my clients are very intentional with what they wear- the father and son were wearing Pokemon shirts, and it was cool that they brought some funky sunglasses to take photos with! So creative and adds so much character to the photos! Halfway during the shoot the storm clouds came and it started to POUR… They got a bit wet but we still had fun and got some great shots!
