• YOU get to choose your photos!

  • FOR EX: For a 1 hour shoot, I will take about 500- 1000 photos of you for your shoot and narrow it down to about 200-300 of which you get to choose your favorite 75!

  • The reason I do this is because I realize that we value different photos and moments! I’ve often been surprised by the photos my clients have chosen as their favorite- sometimes they were photos I almost deleted! We all treasure different type of moments, and also the way I see a photo is usually seeing the overall look of the photo whereas my client may scrutinize their face more. I want my clients to be happy with their photos, so I believe giving them the ABILITY TO CHOOSE their own photos has worked GREAT for both of us!

• 2 Cameras + 2 Lenses at the Same Time

  • I usually shoot with 2 camera bodies on me. This means that I don’t have to waste time changing lenses and I can give you images from 2 different lenses to choose from! (Imagine a photographer being able to shoot both a “normal” photo and then a zoomed in “portrait” at the same time, without having to switch cameras or lenses- you will get more variety and waste less time!)
    

• Feedback throughout the shoot

  • During the shoot, I will often let you see my camera so you can see how the shoot is going and to see if you want to retake any shots. I really like open communication before and during a shoot so we can make sure we get the images that YOU really want!
    

• MORE photos

  • I take MANY photos; more than the average photographer. I usually take 500-1000 photos per hour. I try to make the most of every minute with you. Even when we are walking from place to place I use that opportunity to get candids. This means that you will have many options of photos to choose from in your gallery!
    

• Location consultation

  • I have traveled extensively throughout Japan and have a wanderlust mindset. I really love flowers and nature and follow the blooms and special events that happen around Japan throughout the year. I can definitely help you in pinpointing a perfect spot for your photo shoot!
    

• Photos chosen by ME and YOU

  • I select the best photos for the gallery BY MYSELF- I do not outsource it or use A.I. to choose the photos for me! Nowadays, many people (including photographers) are using AI to choose the best photos for them. Call me oldschool but I refuse to let any program automatically choose and edit all my photos.
